The Littelfuse 1.5SMC6.8A is a unidirectional TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 5.8V and a clamping voltage of 10.5V, with a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (10/1000μs waveform). The device offers excellent clamping capability and low incremental surge resistance.
This TVS diode is suitable for general purpose applications including I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
