The 1.5SMC400A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse Inc. designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 342V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 380V. The device clamps transient overvoltages at a maximum of 548V while handling a peak pulse current of 2.8A (10/1000µs waveform).
With a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (1.5kW), this diode is suitable for general purpose transient protection in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer applications. The part is surface mountable in a DO-214AB (SMC) package and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
The 1.5SMC series offers excellent clamping capability and low incremental surge resistance. This device does not include power line protection and is intended for unidirectional transient suppression.
The reverse standoff voltage is 342V.
The maximum clamping voltage is 548V at 2.8A peak pulse current.
The peak pulse power is 1500W (1.5kW) for a 10/1000µs waveform.
It comes in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface mount package.
It is a unidirectional TVS diode.
