The Littelfuse 1.5SMC39A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 33.3V and a clamping voltage of 53.9V at a peak pulse current of 28.2A. With a peak pulse power rating of 1500W (10/1000μs waveform), it is suitable for general purpose applications. The device is surface mountable in a DO-214AB (SMC) package and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C (junction). It is not designed for power line protection. The 1.5SMC series is built for protection of I/O interfaces, Vcc bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications.
