The 1.5SMC24AT3 is a unidirectional TVS diode from ON Semiconductor designed to protect sensitive electronics from high voltage transients. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (1ms pulse) with a working peak reverse voltage of 20.5V and a clamping voltage of 33.2V at 45A peak pulse current. The device features a fast response time of less than 1ns and an ESD rating of >16kV (Human Body Model).
This TVS diode is housed in a surface mount DO-214AB (SMC) package with modified L-bend leads, suitable for automated assembly. It operates over a wide temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. The part is Pb-Free and RoHS3 compliant (unverified).
Typical applications include general purpose transient protection in communication systems, automotive electronics, industrial controls, and power supplies. The device is not intended for power line protection.
