The 1.5SMC10A-E3/9AT is a 1500W peak pulse power transient voltage suppressor from Vishay's 1.5SMC series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients caused by inductive load switching and lightning. This unidirectional device features a 10V standoff voltage and a maximum clamping voltage of 14.5V at a peak pulse current of 103A (10/1000 µs waveform).
The device is housed in a surface mount DO-214AB (SMC) package, ideal for automated placement. It features a glass passivated chip junction for reliability and very fast response time to transients.
