The 1.5SMC100A-E3/57T is a surface mount TVS diode from Vishay Dale, part of the 1.5SMC series. It provides transient voltage protection with a reverse standoff voltage of 85.5V and a clamping voltage of 137V. The device is rated for 1500W peak pulse power (10/1000μs waveform) and can handle a peak pulse current of 10.9A under the same waveform. It features a Zener breakdown for unidirectional protection and is designed for sensitive electronics such as ICs, MOSFETs, and signal lines in consumer, computer, industrial, automotive, and telecommunication applications. The diode is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) package with matte tin plated leads and supports an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. It is RoHS3 compliant (E3 suffix) and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020.
