The 1.5SMC100A is a 1500W unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse Inc. designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 85.5V and a clamping voltage of 137V at a peak pulse current of 11.1A.
This device is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AB (SMC) package and operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. It offers a peak forward surge current capability of 200A (8.3ms single half sine wave) and a maximum instantaneous forward voltage of 3.5/5.0V at 100A for unidirectional types.
