The Littelfuse 1.5KE91CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage (typical) of 77.8V and a maximum clamping voltage of 125V at a peak pulse current of 12.2A (10/1000µs waveform).
With a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs) and steady-state power dissipation of 6.5W at TL=75°C on an infinite heat sink, this device offers robust protection. The glass passivated chip junction ensures fast response time, typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage. It also features a low incremental surge resistance and typical IR less than 1μA when VBR min > 12V.
The 1.5KE91CA is housed in a DO-201AA / DO-27 axial leaded through-hole package, making it suitable for I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications. The device is lead-free (Pb-free E3) and halogen free, with matte tin lead-free plated terminations.
The reverse standoff voltage (typical) is 77.8V.
The maximum clamping voltage at Ipp is 125V.
The peak pulse power dissipation is 1500W for a 10/1000µs waveform (single die parts).
It is available in a DO-201AA/DO-27 axial leaded through-hole package (DO-201).
The operating junction and storage temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
