The 1.5KE91A is a 1500W transient voltage suppression diode from Littelfuse's 1.5KE series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. Key electrical characteristics include a reverse standoff voltage of 77.8V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 86.45V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 125V at a peak pulse current of 12.2A (10/1000μs waveform). The device offers a fast response time of typically less than 1.0ps. It is unidirectional with one channel. The DO-201 package (DO-201AA, DO-27, Axial) supports through-hole mounting. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 175°C. The device is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and has MSL 1 unlimited. It features matte tin lead-free plated termination. Applications include general purpose protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
