This is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It has a reverse standoff voltage of 53V and a nominal breakdown voltage of 62V. The clamping voltage is 85V at the rated peak pulse current of 17.6A for a 10/1000μs waveform. It can handle 1500W of peak pulse power.
The device features a glass passivated chip junction for reliability and offers very fast response time. It is suitable for use in consumer, industrial, automotive, and telecommunication applications. The bidirectional nature allows protection for both positive and negative transients without polarity concerns.
The diode is housed in a DO-201AA (axial lead) package for through-hole mounting. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. The leads are matte tin plated for solderability. The part is RoHS compliant with E3 suffix and meets JESD 201 class 1A whisker test.
