The 1.5KE62CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Taiwan Semiconductor, designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform) and a reverse standoff voltage of 85V. The device features a fast response time of less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage, and a low incremental surge resistance. It is housed in a through-hole DO-201 (DO-201AA, DO-27) axial leaded package, suitable for general purpose applications in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C, with a steady state power dissipation of 6.5W on infinite heat sink.
