STMicroelectronics 1.5KE440ARL is a unidirectional TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 376V and a clamping voltage of 776V at a peak pulse current of 13A (8/20µs waveform). The device can handle 1500W of peak pulse power, making it suitable for high-energy transient protection.
The 1.5KE440ARL is packaged in a DO-201 (DO-201AA, DO-27) axial lead through-hole package, allowing for easy mounting on PCBs. It is not intended for power line protection, as indicated by its 'No' power line protection specification. The diode operates with a typical capacitance of 360pF at 1MHz.
This TVS diode meets environmental compliance standards: RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and moisture sensitivity level (MSL) 1 (unlimited). It is commonly used in general-purpose applications requiring robust transient voltage suppression.
