The 1.5KE440A is a 1500W peak pulse power TVS diode designed by STMicroelectronics for protecting sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 376V and a clamping voltage of 776V at a peak pulse current of 13A (8/20µs waveform).
This unidirectional device offers fast response time typically less than 1.0ps and low incremental surge resistance. It is housed in a DO-201AA/DO-27 axial leaded through-hole package and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
The diode is suitable for general purpose transient protection applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial and consumer electronics. It is RoHS3 compliant and halogen free per the datasheet.
The reverse standoff voltage (VRWM) is 376V.
The maximum clamping voltage at peak pulse current is 776V.
The peak pulse power dissipation is 1500W (1.5kW) for a 10/1000µs waveform.
The device is available in DO-201AA, DO-27, Axial through-hole package (supplier device package DO-201).
