The 1.5KE43CA-E3/54 is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Vishay Dale's 1.5KE series. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 36.8V, a clamping voltage of 59.3V at 25.3A, and a peak pulse power rating of 1500W for a 10/1000µs waveform. The device uses a glass passivated chip junction for reliability and offers very fast response time and low incremental surge resistance.
Designed for general purpose transient protection, this TVS diode is suitable for sensitive electronics such as ICs, MOSFETs, and signal lines in consumer, computer, industrial, and telecommunication equipment. It can handle inductive load switching and lightning-induced transients.
The diode is housed in a through-hole DO-201AA / DO-27 axial package, with matte tin plated leads. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. The E3 suffix indicates RoHS compliance and commercial grade. Moisture sensitivity level is MSL 1 (unlimited).
