The Littelfuse 1.5KE400A is a 1500W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from the 1.5KE series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events.
It features a reverse standoff voltage of 342V, a breakdown voltage of 380V (minimum), and a clamping voltage of 548V at a peak pulse current of 2.8A. The device can dissipate 1500W of peak pulse power per the 10/1000μs waveform. Typical leakage current is less than 1µA.
The 1.5KE400A is housed in a through-hole DO-201AA, DO-27, or Axial package and is rated for operation from -55°C to +175°C. It is suitable for general purpose applications including I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
