The 1.5KE39A is a unidirectional TVS diode designed for transient voltage protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 33.3V and a clamping voltage of 69.7V at 143A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). With a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W, it is suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from lightning and other voltage transients.
The device offers fast response time (<1ps) and low typical reverse leakage current (<1µA at VBR min>12V). It is housed in a through-hole DO-201AA/DO-27 axial package with matte tin lead finish. The operating junction temperature range is -55 to 175°C.
Typical applications include general purpose protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The device is RoHS3 compliant and halogen free.
