The 1.5KE27A-T is a 1500W unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 23.1V and a clamping voltage of 37.5V at a peak pulse current of 40A. The device is designed for general purpose transient protection and is not intended for power line protection.
This TVS diode is housed in a DO-201 (DO-201AA, DO-27, Axial) through-hole package with tin-plated axial leads. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. The device is constructed with a glass passivated die and offers excellent clamping capability with fast response time.
