The 1.5KE250CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 213V and a clamping voltage of 442V at a peak pulse current of 23A (8/20µs waveform). The device offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform) and a fast response time of less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage minimum.
This TVS diode is housed in a DO-201AA / DO-27 axial leaded through-hole package, suitable for general purpose circuit protection applications. It is rated for an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to +175°C and has a steady state power dissipation of 6.5W on an infinite heat sink.
