The 1.5KE24CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 20.5V and a maximum clamping voltage of 42.8V at a peak pulse current of 234A (8/20µs waveform). With a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform), it is suitable for general purpose circuit protection applications.
The device offers fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown voltage, and provides ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2. It is housed in a DO-201 through-hole package with axial leads, making it easy to integrate into PCB designs. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
The 1.5KE24CA is RoHS3 compliant and halogen free, with a Pb-free E3 terminal finish. It is ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC buses, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
