The 1.5KE24A is a 1500W unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, part of the 1.5KE series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 20.5V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 22.8V, and a clamping voltage of 33.2V at a peak pulse current of 45.8A (10/1000µs waveform).
This TVS diode offers fast response time (typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage) and excellent clamping capability. It is ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications. The device is glass passivated with a chip junction in a DO-201 package, and it operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
The 1.5KE24A is through-hole mountable with axial leads, available in DO-201AA, DO-27, and axial package variants. It is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected, with an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited).
