The 1.5KE22CA-E3/54 is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Vishay's TRANSZORB series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lightning.
This device offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform) with a peak pulse current of 49A. The reverse standoff voltage is 18.8V, with a nominal breakdown voltage of 22V and a maximum clamping voltage of 30.6V. It has a maximum power dissipation of 6.5W on an infinite heatsink at TL=75°C.
The TVS diode is housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial lead package, suitable for through-hole mounting. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C. The device features a glass passivated chip junction and matte tin plated leads, solderable per J-STD-002.
