The 1.5KE18CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000μs waveform) and features a reverse standoff voltage of 15.3V with a maximum clamping voltage of 32.5V. The device provides a fast response time of less than 1.0 picosecond and is rated for ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2.
The part is housed in a through-hole DO-201 (also known as DO-27) axial package and is suitable for a wide range of general-purpose applications including I/O interfaces, VCC bus, telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. It supports an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to +175°C and features a glass passivated chip junction for reliability.
The reverse standoff voltage (Vrwm) is 15.3V.
The maximum clamping voltage is 32.5V.
