The 1.5KE15CA is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 12.8 V and a clamping voltage of 27.2 V at a peak pulse current of 368 A (8/20 µs waveform). With a peak pulse power rating of 1500 W, it provides robust transient protection for general-purpose applications.
This diode uses a glass passivated chip junction in a DO-201 package with axial leads, suitable for through-hole mounting. It is RoHS3 compliant, has an MSL rating of 1 (Unlimited), and is REACH unaffected. The device offers fast response time and excellent clamping capability.
