The 1.5KE15A-E3/54 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Vishay, designed for general purpose overvoltage protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 12.8V, a nominal breakdown voltage of 15V, and a clamping voltage of 21.2V at 70.8A peak pulse current. The device can handle 1500W peak pulse power with a 10/1000μs waveform and has a forward surge current rating of 200A (8.3ms).
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial leaded through-hole package, the diode operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
