The 1.5KE150A-E3/54 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Vishay General Semiconductor's TRANSZORB series. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 128V and a breakdown voltage range of 143V to 158V at 1mA test current. The device clamps transient overvoltages at 207V, handling peak pulse currents up to 7.2A with a 10/1000μs waveform.
This TVS diode is designed for general purpose protection of sensitive electronics against voltage transients caused by inductive load switching and lightning. It offers very fast response time and low incremental surge resistance. The glass passivated chip junction ensures reliability, and the device is rated for a maximum junction temperature of 175°C.
The part is housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial leaded package with through-hole mounting. Terminals are matte tin plated for solderability. The molded epoxy case meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The E3 suffix indicates RoHS compliant commercial grade.
