The 1.5KE12A is a 1500W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Taiwan Semiconductor, part of the 1.5KE series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. Key electrical specifications include a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000μs waveform), a clamping voltage of 16.7V at 94A peak pulse current, and a fast response time of less than 1ps.
