The 1.5KE10CA is a bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse's 1.5KE series, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 8.55V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 9.5V, and a clamping voltage of 14.5V at a peak pulse current of 104.8A. With a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs waveform), this device offers robust protection for I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer applications.
The diode is housed in a DO-201AA/DO-27 axial leaded package with through-hole mounting, suitable for automated insertion.
