The 1.5KE100CA is a bidirectional TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 85.5V and a breakdown voltage of 95V minimum. The device clamps transient overvoltages at 178V maximum while handling peak pulse currents up to 56A (10/1000µs waveform).
With a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W (10/1000µs), this diode is suitable for general-purpose transient protection in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer applications. It offers a fast response time of less than 1ps and a low incremental surge resistance.
The 1.5KE100CA is housed in a DO-201AA/DO-27 axial leaded package with matte tin lead-free plating, designed for through-hole mounting. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and has a steady-state power dissipation of 6.5W. The device is halogen free and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
