The Advanced Energy UltraVolt C Series 1/4C24-N20-E is a high voltage regulated DC-to-DC converter designed for cap-charging applications. This enclosed, chassis mount module delivers 20W of output power with an adjustable output voltage range from 0 to 250 VDC and a maximum output current of 80mA. It operates from an input voltage range of 23 to 30 VDC under full power, and 9 to 32 VDC when derated.
Key electrical specifications include a line regulation of less than 0.01% and load regulation of less than 0.01%. The converter features very fast rise times with low overshoot, indefinite output short circuit protection, and output voltage and current monitors. Its internal storage capacitance is 0.15 uF.
Designed for reliability and low cost using surface-mount technology and encapsulation, this converter is suitable for high-energy pulsers, amplifiers, and discharge devices.
