The Advanced Energy A Series 1/4A12-P4-25PPM-F-M-E is a miniature, PCB-mount, high voltage, regulated DC-DC converter. Designed with state-of-the-art power-conversion topology, it features surface-mount technology and encapsulation for high reliability and performance.
This converter provides an output power of 4W with an output voltage range of 0 to 250 VDC. The input voltage range is 11 to 16 VDC for full power operation, and can be derated from 9 to 32 VDC. Key electrical specifications include a maximum load current of 16mA, ripple of 0.05%V p-p, and line regulation of less than 0.01%.
Mechanically, the unit measures 120.7mm x 50.8mm x 25.4mm and is designed for chassis mounting. It operates within a temperature range of 10°C to 45°C. The converter is UL/cUL recognized and CE Marked, complying with standards 60950-1 and 62368-1.
Additional features include indefinite output short-circuit protection and an output current monitor. The -F option is available for a Ripple Stripper® filter.
