The Advanced Energy A Series 1/2A24-N30-M-C is a miniature, PCB-mount, high voltage, regulated DC-DC converter. Designed with state-of-the-art power-conversion topology, it features surface-mount technology and encapsulation for high reliability and performance.

This model provides 30W of output power with an output voltage range of 0 to 500 VDC, operating from a nominal input voltage of 24 VDC. The input voltage range is 11 to 16 VDC for full power and 9 to 32 VDC for derated power. Key electrical specifications include a maximum output current of 60 mA, a typical no-load current of less than 100 mA, and a maximum load current of approximately 400 mA. The AC ripple current is less than 80 mA p-p under nominal input and full load conditions.

Regulation performance is excellent, with line regulation less than 0.01% and static load regulation less than 0.01%. Dynamic load regulation is less than 0.50 V pk. The converter operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 65°C. It features indefinite output short-circuit protection and an output current monitor.

The unit is an enclosed type with chassis mounting. Its dimensions are 120.7mm (4.75") in length, 50.8mm (2.00") in width, and 25.4mm (1.00") in height. It is recognized as a UL/cUL component and carries the CE Mark, complying with standards 60950-1 and 62368-1.
