The TE Connectivity 1-2106489-2 is an IDC Poke-In Wire connector designed for quick, tool-less termination of 20 AWG solid or stranded wire to a printed circuit board. This connector features 2 positions in a single row with a 0.157" (4.00mm) pitch and a closed end design.
The connector is rated for 8A current (for 18 AWG; 20 AWG rating may differ) and 400 VAC/VDC, with a dielectric strength of 1500 VAC. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. The housing is made of PA UL94 V-0 material, and contacts are copper alloy with tin over nickel plating.
The through hole, right angle mounting makes it suitable for connecting discrete wires directly to the board in lighting, HVAC, and appliance applications.
