This Harting Han® HMC hood (part number 09 30 224 0803) is a size 24B, high construction hood designed for heavy-duty connector applications requiring high mating cycles. It features a single locking lever and is supplied without cable entry. The housing is made of aluminium die-cast with a powder-coated finish in RAL 7037 (dust grey).
The hood provides IP65 protection against dust and water jets, and is rated for operating temperatures from -40°C to +125°C. It is designed for use with other HMC components and is rated for at least 10,000 mating cycles.
Compliance includes RoHS, REACH, ELV, China RoHS, and California Proposition 65 (nickel). It also meets fire protection standards for railway vehicles per EN 45545-2 and holds UL type ratings 4, 4X, and 12.
