The Phoenix Contact 0903031 is an electronic miniature circuit-breaker from the CLIPLINE EC-E... series, designed to selectively protect 24V DC load circuits. It features active electronic current limitation for short circuits and an overload shutdown function starting from 1.1 times the nominal current (IN). This ensures faster reaction to overloads than the power supply unit, with residual current restricted to 1.3 - 1.8 times the nominal current.

This circuit-breaker supports capacitive loads up to 20,000 µF and can be reset manually via a slide switch or electronically using a reset input. It provides clear signaling through an LED, status output, or alarm output. With a design width of 12.5 mm, it mounts easily onto NS 35 DIN rails using screw connections. The 12A current rating and 24VDC voltage rating make it suitable for various DC power distribution applications.
