The Kyocera AVX 0805YG105ZAT2A is a surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with 1 µF capacitance and 16V DC rating. It uses a Y5V dielectric, which offers a wide capacitance change of +22% to -82% over the operating temperature range of -30°C to +85°C, making it suitable for decoupling and general-purpose applications in limited temperature environments.
This capacitor is packaged in the standard 0805 (2012 Metric) case size with dimensions 2.01mm x 1.25mm and a maximum thickness of 1.40mm. Terminations are plated with nickel and tin, compatible with surface mount assembly processes. Dissipation factor is ≤9.0% for the 16V rating, and insulation resistance is a minimum of 10,000MΩ or 500MΩ-µF, whichever is less.
