The Kyocera AVX 0805PC103KAT2A is a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) from the Tip & Ring series, designed for telecom line filtering applications. It blocks -48V DC line voltage while passing subscriber AC signals (16-25Hz, 70-90Vrms), replacing larger leaded film capacitors.
Key specifications: 10000pF capacitance, 250V DC rated voltage, X7R temperature coefficient (±15% over -55°C to 125°C), ±10% tolerance. The 0805 (2012 metric) package features plated Ni and Sn terminations for RoHS compliance and standard surface mounting.
