The Kyocera AVX 08055C471JAT2A is a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) featuring 470pF capacitance, 50V DC rated voltage, X7R dielectric material, and ±5% tolerance. It is housed in an 0805 (2012 Metric) package with dimensions 2.00mm x 1.25mm and a maximum thickness of 0.94mm. The termination is plated Ni and Sn, and it is supplied in tape and reel packaging (7" reel).
Electrically, the X7R dielectric offers a capacitance change within ±15% over the operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The dissipation factor is ≤10% for ≥50V ratings, and insulation resistance is 10,000MΩ or 500MΩ-µF min (whichever is less). The dielectric strength is tested at 250% of rated voltage without breakdown.
