The Kyocera AVX 08055A8R0DAQ2A is a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with C0G (NP0) dielectric. It offers a capacitance of 8 pF with a tolerance of ±0.5 pF and a rated voltage of 50 V DC. The 0805 (2012 metric) package measures 2.01mm x 1.25mm x 0.94mm max. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. C0G/NP0 dielectric provides excellent stability with capacitance change less than ±0.3% over temperature, negligible drift, and high Q factor (≥1000 for ≥30pF, or 400+20*Cap for <30pF). Insulation resistance is at least 10,000 MΩ. The capacitor is terminated with plated nickel and tin, suitable for surface mount assembly. It is supplied on 7" reels. Typical applications include timing circuits, filters, and resonant circuits where stability and low losses are required.
