The Kyocera AVX 08055A620JAT2A is a surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) using C0G (NP0) dielectric, which offers excellent temperature stability with a capacitance change of 0 ±30 ppm/°C over -55°C to +125°C. This capacitor provides 62 pF capacitance with ±5% tolerance and is rated for 50V DC operation. C0G NP0 is an EIA Class I ceramic formulation known for low drift, low loss, and high Q characteristics.
The capacitor features a quality factor (Q) of at least 1000 at 1 MHz, an insulation resistance of 10,000 MΩ minimum (or 500 MΩ-µF whichever is less), and passes dielectric strength testing at 250% of rated voltage. The 0805 case size (2.01 mm x 1.25 mm x 0.94 mm) is suited for automated assembly, and the component is supplied in tape and reel packaging (7") with plated Ni/Sn terminations.
Typical applications include general purpose DC blocking, coupling, decoupling, and temperature-compensating circuits in consumer, industrial, and communication electronics.
