The Kyocera AVX 08055A580FAT2A is a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) featuring C0G (NP0) dielectric. It has a capacitance of 58 pF with a tight ±1% tolerance and a rated voltage of 50V. C0G/NP0 is a Class I dielectric that offers excellent stability, with capacitance change limited to ±0.3% over the operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. This makes it suitable for timing, filtering, and resonant circuit applications where capacitance stability is critical.
The capacitor is housed in an 0805 (2012 Metric) package with dimensions 2.01mm x 1.25mm and a maximum thickness of 0.94mm. It is designed for surface mount assembly and is supplied in tape and reel packaging for automated placement. The terminations are plated with nickel and tin (as per datasheet).
