The 08055A272KAT2A is a surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) from Kyocera AVX. It offers a capacitance of 2700 pF with a tolerance of ±10% and a rated DC voltage of 50V. The capacitor uses a C0G (NP0) dielectric, which provides excellent temperature stability with a capacitance change of 0 ±30 ppm/°C over the operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
This component is housed in an 0805 (2012 Metric) package with plated nickel and tin terminations, suitable for automated assembly. It meets high reliability requirements with a minimum Q factor of 1000 for capacitance values ≥30 pF, insulation resistance of at least 10,000 MΩ or 500 MΩ-µF (whichever is less), and no breakdown under dielectric strength testing at 250% of rated voltage.
The C0G dielectric is ideal for applications requiring low loss and stable capacitance over temperature, such as timing circuits, filters, and resonant circuits. The capacitor is available on 7-inch reels for volume production.
