The 08055A270GAT2A is a surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) manufactured by Kyocera AVX. It uses a C0G (NP0) dielectric, which is an EIA Class I ceramic material offering one of the most stable capacitance characteristics available. Capacitance change with temperature is 0 ±30 ppm/°C, corresponding to less than ±0.3% over the full operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. Drift and hysteresis are negligible, making this part ideal for applications requiring high stability, such as timing circuits, resonant circuits, and RF filtering.
The capacitor provides 27 pF capacitance with a ±2% tolerance and is rated for 50V DC. The component is housed in an 0805 (2012 Metric) case with dimensions 2.01mm x 1.25mm and a maximum thickness of 0.94mm. Termination is plated nickel and tin, suitable for surface-mount soldering. The part is supplied on 7-inch reels for automated assembly.
Due to its stable temperature coefficient and low drift, this MLCC is well-suited for general-purpose applications including decoupling, bypass, and coupling in consumer, industrial, and automotive electronics where Class I performance is required.
