The Kyocera AVX 08055A221KAT4A is a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with a capacitance of 220 pF, rated voltage of 50V DC, and tolerance of ±10%. It utilizes C0G (NP0) dielectric, which is a Class I ceramic material known for its stability over temperature and time. The capacitor is housed in an 0805 (2012 metric) package with plated nickel and tin terminations, suitable for automated assembly.
Electrically, this capacitor offers a high Q factor of 1000 minimum for values ≥30 pF, and 400+20*Cap for values <30 pF, making it suitable for resonant circuits and filtering applications. The insulation resistance is at least 10,000 MΩ, and the dielectric strength is 250% of rated voltage, ensuring reliable performance under stress. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, with a temperature coefficient of 0 ±30 ppm/°C.
