The Kyocera AVX 08055A200KAT2A is a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with a capacitance of 20 pF, tolerance of ±10%, and a rated voltage of 50V. It uses C0G/NP0 dielectric, a Class I temperature-compensating material that offers excellent stability with a capacitance change of 0 ±30 ppm/°C over the operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. This makes it suitable for timing, filtering, and resonant circuit applications where low drift and high Q are required.
The capacitor is housed in an 0805 (2012 metric) package with dimensions of 2.01mm length, 1.25mm width, and a maximum thickness of 0.94mm. It is designed for surface mount assembly and is supplied in tape and reel packaging. The terminations are plated nickel and tin.
Electrical characteristics include a minimum Q factor of 800 at 1 MHz and 1 Vrms, and a minimum insulation resistance of 10,000 MΩ after 60 seconds at rated voltage.
