The Kyocera AVX 08055A1R5BAT2A is a surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) featuring a C0G (NP0) dielectric. This Class I ceramic formulation offers excellent temperature stability with a capacitance change of 0 ±30 ppm/°C over the full operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The capacitor provides a nominal capacitance of 1.5 pF with a tight tolerance of ±0.1 pF and is rated for 50 V DC.
C0G/NP0 dielectrics are known for negligible capacitance drift and hysteresis, making them ideal for timing, tuning, and filtering circuits where stability is critical. The 0805 package (2.01 mm x 1.25 mm x 0.94 mm max) is suitable for high-density PCB designs. Terminations are plated nickel and tin, compatible with lead-free soldering processes.
