The Kyocera AVX 08055A1R0DAT2A is a surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with a capacitance of 1 pF and a rated voltage of 50 V. It utilizes a C0G (NP0) dielectric, which offers excellent temperature stability with a capacitance change of 0 ±30 ppm/°C over the operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. This Class I dielectric also provides high Q and low drift, making it suitable for resonant circuits and timing applications.
The capacitor is housed in an 0805 (2012 metric) package with dimensions of 2.01 mm x 1.25 mm and a maximum thickness of 0.94 mm. Termination finish is plated nickel and tin (Ni/Sn), compatible with standard soldering processes. The part is supplied on 7-inch tape and reel for automated assembly.
Key electrical characteristics include a minimum Q of 420 at 1 MHz, insulation resistance of at least 10,000 MΩ, and a dielectric strength of 125 V (250% of rated voltage). The tolerance is ±0.5 pF, suitable for precision applications. This capacitor is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
