The Kyocera AVX 08055A1R0CAT2A is a surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) using a C0G (NP0) dielectric. It offers a capacitance of 1 pF with a tight tolerance of ±0.25 pF and a rated voltage of 50V. The C0G/NP0 dielectric provides excellent temperature stability with a capacitance change of 0 ±30ppm/°C over the full operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
This capacitor is housed in an 0805 (2012 Metric) package with plated nickel and tin terminations, suitable for automated surface-mount assembly. It features high Q factor (≥ 400+20×Cap for <30pF) and high insulation resistance (10,000MΩ or 500MΩ-µF whichever is less). The dielectric strength is tested at 250% of rated voltage for 1-5 seconds.
Designed for general-purpose applications, this MLCC is ideal for timing, tuning, and filtering circuits where capacitance stability and low losses are critical. The C0G dielectric exhibits negligible capacitance drift and hysteresis, making it suitable for precision analog and RF circuits.
The capacitance is 1 pF with a tolerance of ±0.25 pF.
The rated voltage is 50V DC.
The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
It is an 0805 (2012 Metric) surface-mount package.
It uses C0G (NP0) dielectric, a Class I ceramic with excellent temperature stability.
For capacitance <30pF, Q is ≥ 400+20×Cap; for ≥30pF, Q is ≥ 1000, measured at 1.0Vrms, 1MHz.
