The Kyocera AVX 08055A181JAT2A is a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with a C0G (NP0) dielectric. It offers a capacitance of 180 pF with a tolerance of ±5% and a rated voltage of 50V. C0G/NP0 is a Class I ceramic formulation that provides excellent capacitance stability over temperature, with a temperature coefficient of 0 ±30 ppm/°C and negligible capacitance drift.
This capacitor is housed in an 0805 (2012 Metric) package measuring 2.01mm x 1.25mm with a maximum thickness of 0.94mm. It features plated nickel and tin terminations for reliable surface mount soldering. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of environments.
Typical applications include general-purpose circuits where stable capacitance is required. The C0G/NP0 dielectric offers high insulation resistance (10,000 MΩ minimum) and a dielectric strength of 250% of rated voltage. The part is supplied on 7-inch reels for automated assembly.
