The 08055A152KAT2A is a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) manufactured by Kyocera AVX. It offers a capacitance of 1500 pF with a rated voltage of 50 V DC. The capacitor uses a C0G (NP0) dielectric, which provides excellent temperature stability with a capacitance change of 0 ±30 ppm/°C over the operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The tolerance is ±10%.
This component is designed for general purpose applications where stable capacitance over temperature and time is required. The C0G dielectric also offers low losses, with a minimum Q factor of 1000 for capacitors ≥30 pF at 1 MHz. The insulation resistance is at least 10,000 MΩ or 500 MΩ-µF, whichever is less.
The capacitor is packaged in an 0805 (2012 metric) case size with dimensions of 2.01 mm length, 1.25 mm width, and a maximum thickness of 0.94 mm. Terminations are plated with nickel and tin (Ni/Sn), suitable for soldering. The part is supplied on 7-inch reels for automated assembly.
