The Kyocera AVX 08055A151FA12A is a multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) using a C0G (NP0) dielectric. C0G is a Class I ceramic material known for its exceptional temperature stability, with capacitance change less than ±0.3% from -55°C to +125°C. This capacitor has a nominal capacitance of 150 pF with a tight tolerance of ±1% and a rated voltage of 50V. It features a high Q factor of at least 1000 at 1 MHz, making it suitable for RF and high-frequency applications. The insulation resistance is a minimum of 10,000 MΩ or 500 MΩ·μF.
The capacitor is terminated with plated nickel and tin, and is supplied in tape and reel packaging for automated assembly. The package dimensions are 2.00 mm x 1.25 mm with a maximum thickness of 0.94 mm, compatible with standard reflow soldering processes. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
This capacitor is designed for applications requiring high stability and low loss, such as timing circuits, filters, and resonant circuits. Its C0G dielectric ensures minimal capacitance drift over time and temperature, making it a reliable choice for precision electronics.
